How does the paid newsletter take work?

Pro and Business unlock paid subscriptions for your readers. Set a monthly or yearly price per site. Readers pay via Stripe Connect Express — we take a flat 10% platform fee on reader revenue. Substack charges 10% with no SaaS plan and no AI. Ghost charges $25-199/mo without paid newsletters built in. Beeem is both.

What counts as an AI credit?

A title suggestion, excerpt, or short rewrite is 1 credit. A full-post draft is 2-3 credits depending on length. A theme generation is 2-3 credits. Free tier (50/month) covers around 20-40 experiments. Pro (1,000) covers daily heavy use.

Can I export my content?

Yes. Posts are stored as Markdown JSON. Pull them via the API on any plan, or download a full archive. There is no lock-in.

Where are sites hosted?

Cloudflare. Posts are static HTML served from 330+ edge locations. The studio, the API, and the data live in Cloudflare D1 and R2. Median TTFB is 30ms.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Pro and Business. Cloudflare for SaaS handles SSL automatically — you just add a CNAME and you're live.

What happens to my paid subscribers if I cancel Beeem?

Your Stripe Connect account is yours, not ours. You keep all customer relationships. We never touch your reader revenue — payouts go direct from Stripe to your bank.
